it would probably fit. There is a little extra room in the cowl. However I like the Moki better

looking good :-)

Ive almost saved up for the moki 180 too now.

Is the plane nose heavy now that it has the moki up front ?

I don't have the motor fully mounted yet and I have not checked the CG yet. I don't think it will be nose heavy with the Moki. Given most of these warbirds require additional nose weight anyway.

thanks for the update, looks great so far :-)

Just make sure you build a bearing block to support the rudder pull pull control rod.
As seen earlier in this thread, this point has failed, and caused rudder fultter, and horizontal stab weakening and failure.
Also be sure it is glued and pinned very well to the LE of the rudder so it can not loosen up.

got it, I remember reading about that in the thread earlier and I made a support brace for the rudder pull/pull arm revisit my link for updated pics. I am still a bit worried about the stab section, I got a composite rod to replace the aluminum one but trying to figure out a way to better attach the stabs to the rear section.

how are you coming on yours?

Well, mine is almost finished.....just need to do a few small things.
Make a cockpit, and install the canopy.
make my wing install bolts, and tail install bolts.
Install a tank, and air tank for my retracts.

But I have been saving up for a moki 190, and have not touched the plane, as the engine mount and tank installation will be different than the setup that I have made for the 90cc 2 stroke that I first intedned to install.
I can buy 1 and a half moki now....so I will pull the trigger soon :-)
Weather has just been realy cold and bad, so I have not been realy motivated to do too much....but at least the snow has melted, and its time to grab a few foamies and head out to the field to get into the spirit again without my fingers dropping off from the cold :-)

Georgia,
your mods are damn near identical to ours. I've been offline with family stuff - the 'cat was hangared all last year, and now getting onto rehab.
over 150 flights, so there's some wear and tear.
my buddy built a custom mount for the tail wheel mount - the way the kit does it does not hold up.. the plastic ribbing on the feathers warped and bubbled. took a heat gun, stripped 'em off, and going back with glassed 1/64 ply and strips to simulate the fabric.
carbon fiber rod for the tail feathers has held up great.
pic's coming.
glassing the wings, and a new paint job, + a new canopy (the old one has gone brown on us) coming from a new supplier..... pic's to follow...

Yea it would be nice to know of another supplier. I have been trying to get a spare cowl for 6 months. Not sure I will ever get one.

Thanks for the lead! but based on his website it looks like that one would be a little smaller than the ETM. ETM is kinda between 1/5 to 1/4 scale with a wing span of 96". The cowl is about 12 3/4" in diameter.
