I've never had a P-51. I guess everyone is obligated to own at least 1.
We need to support this move by Hanger 9.
These sport planes are now going to be real warbirds. Amen.

RE: New version H9 P-51
Pretty nice plane for an ARF. They put a lot of thought into the design and I am sure it will be a good seller.
It's almost as nice as my Sig P51B
I like the way the top side comes off so you can get access to everything and it also allows for people to go electric. I wish they did this with their 150 size P51D.

Why doesHorizon Hobby have trouble with maintaining enough Hanger 9 inventory? I see this P-51 is"Out fo Stock".This isn't the first time they release a product andit says out of stock for months afterwards. Is it that hard to properly inventory new releases?
On Horizon's site right now, on the first ARF page alone they have 8planes out of stock, including the P-51 and the new Taylor Craft. Doh.

Nice.. I like those electric retracts... sort of the best of both worlds between regular mechanical ones and pneumatic ones. I wonder if they'll sell them separately.
Hmmm I've got a 120 4 stroke looking for a home - this ARF might just convince me to go for a Mustang, despite them being somewhat ubiquitous.
