Default TopRC giant P-47 Thunderbolt ARF

I just came across the the gator-rc email that the new 96” P-47 is available in 3 schemes. Looks great. I have not owned a toprc model, but I am highly considering it. How is the composite structure holding up on others? How is their electric gear?

Do you have a link? I went to their website and only found the "Little Bunny" P-47....and that was Seagull.

UPDATE: check out https://gator-rc.com/warbird-rc-planes/warbirds

Haven't seen a post yet on the manual.
I called and ordered one for myself yesterday; been wanting a large scale P-47 for a while and this fits the bill nicely.
Check out this video if you haven't seen it yet.

I am shocked by his crazy behavior

I have almost all of TopRC planes (warbirds and jets) except the corsair. From past experience, the planes are good but the landing gears are no good. The struts are ok but the electric motor aren't strong enough to lift the gear up in flight. Gear down for landing is also nerve wrecking.

Have anyone seen the Cy models p47 with the glass wing?. How is the quality compares to the toprc planes. YouTube video shows it has impressive details (panel lines and rivets).

Check it on texasrcplanes. I zoomed into the picture and it looks like it doesn't have panel lines on the wing. Looks like it doesn't have much details.

Hello,

The prices in your shop looks very expensive 🤪
I own the P47 « SNAFU » Item# cy8009c. the wings are made of wood with a painted plastic covering.
I am surprise that they wrote « glass wings ». Nothing found in the manufacturer with site.
Should be a mistake, all other CY Models have wooden wings.

My last e-mail with Gator RC said they expected delivery late September; personally I am not to confident on that with what is happening these days in the shipping container world.

Default Snafu

I got in on the first TopRC Model batch and selected Snafu. After a couple of guys showed up at my field with CY Model Snafu now wish I’d ordered Bonnie.

Hopefully with TopRC, CY and now Pilot-RC all shipping 95” P-47’s this Fall, Electron & Sierra will offer proper robust landing gear to replace the bundled crap.

Well I got an e-mail from Gator RC and seems that the TOPRC P-47's are here in the states but being held up in customs in Chicago; so we are still waiting.

Default Bonnie - Snafu

Anyone in the first batch who ordered Bonnie but prefers Snafu? I ordered Snafu then learned of a couple of members in my local club with Snafu’s…and as the saying goes “3’s a crowd!”.

I’m happy to consider a swap.

PM me if interested :-)

Cheers
