RE: CMP 120 Zero ARF Build thread
Last weekend I installed box for switches inside the fuselage and began with rivets and plateful. The size of the rivets it´s not very good, but I am building semi-scale aircraft not scale. These rivets are rest of the rivets which I used for my Bf-109G three years ago, so I used it. I will continue next weekend with the wings. Now I am dealing problem with spinner, because Zero´s spinner had specific shape. I thinking about some spinner from ESM. http://www.ytinternational.co.uk/spinner/spinners.htm

Try this supplier. Type 4 spinner is for the Zero.

I thought you might like to see the cockpit out of my 50cc cmp that I am working on. It might inspire you to put in a full cockpit instead of a picture of a cockpit. It is a lot of work, but I think it is worth it.

Nice job Moldeflafer. It is possible to do full cockpit in 50 cc CMP Zero. Problem is that this one is small version of CPM and there is no space to put all servos under cockpit.
It can be done, but I think tat this one is too small for this kind of scale element.

Frets, thank you for the link, I can try it.
Modelflyer, your Zero looks very nice and I know, that full cockpit is better than picture. It looks better, but my Zero is "on the second" place for me. I want to done as soon as it is possible. It should looks nice only on the first time. I don´t use to visit any airshows, because it is very far away for me.
The second reason is that I have fuel tank and servos under the cockpit. Can you send more pictures of your Zero? What engine do you have?

Good call LDM, I have meaning to try one of these myself. Just wish they had some for 3 blade.
Here is a quicker direct link; Top three are for 50cc size and bottom three are close enough to our size to look good

WOW!!! Is that the price one should expect to pay for a 4.5" spinner now ? I'm sure they are good quality, but still I didn't know inflation is that bad in the US. And all I hear in the news is the EU crisis... [X(]

When I saw the prices of the spinners, I´ve bagan drawing spinner myself. It will be aluminum spinner, maybe dural, because I don´t have tu save any weight on the nose of the aircraft. I think, that it will be cheaper than spinner in the shop.

A don´t have any experience with shopping in the USA, so I don ´t know how much costs shipping to middle Europe. I am able to make my spinner less than 20USD.
http://www.topmodelcz.cz/index.php?&...etail&id=13750 this one very similar to spinner, which you showed me but it costs cca 20 USD.

Here is what I did on my Zero. I have used similar spinner to this ones
http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=48161
http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=44909
mine is even bigger 95mm diameter but for me it is not ugly because I do not have dummy engine so there is not big hole in front of engine.
Good think is that there is enough air flow or cooling engine and i did not have to cut lot of canopy for air to go out.
As you know, exit hole has to be at least 2,5 times bigger than intake. And of course, at that price you do not have to make it.

Prekin if you get into the spinner business I want an Fw190 one , no bolt on junk , I want to use screws into the base from the side of the cone , the good old fashion way -scale look .
As far as the cheaper silver looking one for $11.00 its just looks off on a Zero , its too pointy
