Default FW 190D Color Schemes

Hey guys, I'm looking for a 190D-9 scheme that is not the red and white bottom but might be a little different. Is there anything out there other than the Aero Detail book, squadron books, that might help???

From what I've seen you basically get to choose what color stripes you want around the rear fuselage. Beyond that they all look very similar!

lol Chad, I think you are right!!!

Hey Joe, thanks so much for the info!

PJ

Oh yeah, do you all or anyone else know why the bottoms seemed to never match? What I mean is, if you look at the pictures that were provided by Joe, the bottoms of the planes seemed to have a different color with each panel. Did they just run out of paint once we started kicking tail?

PJ, yep, more or less. Lots of replacement parts!

I'm off training some Cadets this week. Will be back next week, so internet access may be limited. The Army doesn't have a good wireless network here.

The black and white are JG 26 home defense bands. JG 26 is one one my favorite. Interesting, I have a Pica 190D I need to finish so any info here may help me to decide.

I had the pleasure of seeing "Yellow 10" before it left Arizona a couple of years ago and, while it is a fantastic restoration, the paint job really looks haphazard to me. It certainly looks different but, in my opinion, it is not attractive. Of course, I'll admit, I am not a fan of German second world war camo for the most part.

Thanks to everyone!!!

Nothing on "White 10" but here are a few I found that offered something interesting to my eye.

I like the bottom one here.

I prefer the blunt nose FW's, but one Dora I thought would be a stand-out would be Schwartz 12. Made up of parts from other planes, a challenging frankenstein paint job:
