Default **EVENT** Warbirds Over Woodstock, CT, OCT 10 & 11

Hi All,

This year's event will be held on October 10th and 11th, 2009 at the Woodstock airport in Woodstock, CT.

Warbirds OF ANY SIZE and scale, non-scale are fully welcome! WWI through Modern age R/C aircraft will be flying.

Big and small gassers, Glow, D/F, EDF, Turbine and electrics can operate from a clean paved OR grass (groomed short) runway.

Food and beverage will be available on site as well as a live band for the after-hours festivities. If you missed last years event, you made a bad decision... Don't make the same mistake twice!

This is a "Non-Contest" event, just a Warbird funfly!

For further information contact CD- Jim Russel @ 508-450-2334, or Event Director- Bruce Fortin @ 860-963-7822.

I'll be there, how 'bout you??????????

*** EDIT *** NEW DATE OF OCTOBER 10 & 11

2 more weeks!

Pete will be there with a couple of warbirds.

Jesse, is there gonna be a combat with Jeff this year, or is he a little gun-shy from last year's 'asleep at the sticks' fatal error in combat? LOL

Man another year I'm going to miss this-why does warbird season always over lap with the opening day of duck season

Could you be more specific about the combat? Is this the traditional combat with streamers and glow engine planes (Coroplast usually), or are we talking about foamie combat. I have a combat coroplast plane I wouldn't mind mixing it up with if it seems suitable.

It is warbird only combat out for blood!! any size warbird electric or glow. Typically we use alpha models migs and sabers but a combat corsair makes it look like korea!

Anyone have a link to a website for directions? Also, does the $15 landing fee cover you for both days or is it $15 per day?

The $15 landing fee is for both days of flying. Here is a link to the clubs website. Just click on where it says directions and you should be all set.
