Yes, mine will be finished as Don Gentile's ride, Shangri-La.

When you order the markings, you get three complete airplane options

Will post pics when complete

Avojet; if you still don't understand "cc", with your 2.4 (40cc) engine, you should be able to pull the spark plug, move the piston to the bottom of the cylinder, then you should be able to pour 40cc's of fuel in the cylinder

they are wide hinges, but the elevator destructions show three, the planes cut for 2,go figure?? i am using three, and yes, i think they are strong enough, what i do, is mark the centre, stick a pin in, drill down the centre of the hinge slot with a 1/8th drill, (this is for wicking the cyno in) place the hinge in, up to the pin, cyno both halves, putting the cyno down the hole, withdraw the pin, this way, they are spaced out a pins thickness, and equal amounts of hinge are deposited in both surfaces, do NOT glue just one surface at a time, and while you are doing all this, you have to jiggle the horn/bellcrank in too-fun, aint it!!!!!
I guess I will go with the CA hinges, I took me a while to figure out how to get in the elevator joiner/bellcrank but the 90 degree bends that go into the elevators were not parallel so I took it out and applied some force to twist them into allignment and guess what, I broke it into two pieces, I was too hamfisted.
However I have a well equiped mechanical workshop at my disposal and will soon get a new one made.
Guys I think I need a Axis fighter to protect my Stuka, my son can fly the fighter but we have to choose which one. I am on a ledge here and I am going to fall any way, all I need is a shove in the right direction. We have Mustangs, Spitfire and P-38s at our field and they have been honing their skills.

This ''cc'' stuff. 28cc, 30cc. Exactly what does this mean? My Brison 2.4, what would be the cc's?
1 cu in = 16.4 cc (approx)

Nothing hard about that.

Brison 2.4
2.4ci=39cc

So, that would make those 28cc engines a bit smaller. Possibly the right size for my 64" Stearman.

What size prop are those 28cc engines using?

Tomas,

I've done a search on this forum concerning the L4 Grasshopper and found only 2 hits, one a general question that went unanswered and another mention that a 90" L4 would be available in 2010. Can you enlighten us with a link to the plane? A picture or a spec sheet? Some idea of an approximate price and availability date??

Thanks in advance for any info that you can supply.

Almost done with my ''Frank Tiano Series'' P-51B! RC SV 26 powered. Should fly this weekend!
What muffler did you use? Is that stock? I have an SV 26cc in my P-51B, butchered the cowl a little. I like how you did yours. I plan on ordering a new cowl after I get a few flights in. Can you post a few more photos of the cowl cuts?
