No total weight yet but before painting started I had weighed the plane with everything installed and it was just under 10lbs I hope, I didn't add much to it at all. fingers crossed that it is around 10.5lbs..

well I finally got to weight the Corsair today with out clear coat it is 10lbs 10oz. I wish I could say that I wasn't concerned about weight but at this point all I can do is Fly it, it should be interesting.

Hi Brad,
I'm new to the forum and I saw your post for the Top Flite F4U Corsair build.I plan on building this kit as soon as I get all the necessary parts.I have a question about your build.Which propellar did you use?Which robart hinge pins did you use for this build?Which tail wheel did you use from Du-Bro(they have several kinds)?I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go along,so I hope I don't become a pest asking so many questions. Thanks for any help that you can give me,I hope you and your family have A Merry Christmas and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Firepower R/C,
I see on RCGuy post for the Top Flite F4U Corsair that you make tanks and bomb kits for this airplane.I was wondering how much you charge for this kit?I'm a new member and I plan on starting this kit as soon as I get all the parts I need. Thanks for your help and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Danny; My name is Tim. I also have read all of this thread on the Corsair Build, as I am building one also. I was hoping to see someone who has filmed his instead of glassing it. But apparently I am the only one doing it with flat 21st Century Insignia Blue. I have completed all but the covering. I will be using an OS 91 FS in mine, mounted inverted. There are a lot of good ideas on this thread. If you have not read the entire thread I encourage you to do so. I used Robart #308 hinge points. I also used the Robart #615 retracts. I will have an onboard ignition system. Good Luck with the build. Tim
