Top Flite .60 P-47
Just wondering what the consensus was on the best engine for the best cowling fit and power? Have read lots of forums and cant seem to get any direct info. on what everyone is sticking with. I'm drawn between the OS FS 91 and a Saito 100. Do both of these engines fit the cowling without a lot of damage to the cowl? And is there much power difference between the two? Which actually sounds the best? Is there a engine out there thats not a Lexus that someone is using that meets the criteria?
Thanks

RE: Top Flite .60 P-47
I had this plane and gave it to my son when I decided to go with the TF Giant Scale P47 (kit not arf). I had the OS75AX with in-cowl header and muffler. Also had Robart retracts which looked really good. I think the 75AX is a good fit for this plane and it fit in the cowl with no hacking required. Just my 2cents and that's what it's worth but I also have a TF Red Box Zero that is about the same size and I am using the exact same power plant for it. I prefer two-strokes for the dependability and power but that is a whole other discussion. On my giant scale I'm using gas.

Yeah Hellcat the YS engines have been weighing on my mind pretty heavy. Ive never owned one but they say around the field that they are the heat. Actually Ive been trying to find a older YS 91 or something in that range to use on the TF P-47. Had considered the Saito 100 but think Im going to go with the YS.
