Work is done! Today IĀ“ve done wear out and balanced it. Dry weight is 8305g. It is approximately 500g than before the remake. Here are the pictures.
Now I must find some good scale pilot.

It looks good. I chose very good propeller. Mr. Fiala makes the best propeller in the Czech Republic!

yes Fiala are very good propellers and cheap.
I forgot to say that I put a ZDS canister on my plane, and now it is not too much noisy. I made a 45 mm hole behing the engine.

What happened, did you lost air from the air system? Could you show some pictures of the plane after the belly landing?

thank you n8622t, air valve didnt work because it was removed from its position due to engine vibrations......and insufficient support!
plane damage was minornly propeller and receiver antennas were damaged (i always put receiver antennas outside and underneath plane body)

This time IĀ“m very close to finish all works on my La-5FN. The fuel tank I made from the plastic bottle from some juice, the shape is very good for the instalation. The air tank is up to the fuel tank. It was the biggest problem, because I had it on the wing, but now I have scale cockpit and between the wing and the cockpit isnĀ“t enough space. []
The last problem which I dealing now is the scale spinner. I canĀ“t found anyone which fits perfectly.

I still think about it, but the easier way is to buy one. And if I made it by myself, it could be unbalanced it will be difficult to balance it. IĀ“ve just did on my CMP Zero.

What I did for my spinner is use the one from the Hanger 9 60 size Bluenose mustang. The shape is a little off but the diameter is pretty close, mine was something like 20 dolllars and for that price I could live the shape being a little off. I painted it with some colour match paint from the local hardware store.

Just a Thought,

Cheers

The shape looks, it could be good, maybe it could be the solution of my problem.

Today I did the first roll out with my La-5FN. During the taxiing I found out that the tail wheel doesnĀ“t work well, sometimes it unexpectedly close, but IĀ“ve just found out the trouble.
I took some picture, here they are.

Thanks Steve!
No, I didnĀ“t fly it today. I must set a mixture on the engine, because I get only 4500 rpm and the other thing is too windy weather today. I hope I will fly it next weekend.

That's good, if it is not ready or the weather is not right is it best to wait. Many guys at our airfield always push others that have new planes to get them in the air. Not a good way, take your time.
