Hi Prekin,
I will be maidening it in a few weeks.... The weather is just getting back to flying weather here and the LA-7 will fly soon. I have a DR-1 and a Pfalz to maiden plus a couple others to re-maiden after some changes.... All in all about 6 new projects to tune and test this spring !!
I promise I'll post photos of the LA-7 as soon as I can.

My Feedback: (4)
My LA-7 is officially ready to maiden.
The new G38 has been a handfull. First the magneto/flywheel gap was too big, then the black carb insulator was cracked and was causing tuning problems. Now everything is tightened up and ready to go.
I also thought you guys would like to see my landing gear plate I made so the LA-7 can sit in my trailer a little easier.

Believe it or not, that's just some number 2 pencil lead rubbed into the covering and panel lines....

Heck ya Radfordc! I love the xyz 53 in mine. That motor rips and has run like a dream (since I had the ignition replaced). Just make sure you give the motor some right thrust, 1 degree of down thrust on the horizontal stabs, and whatever else has been mentioned in this forum. I didn't do those things cause I thought I would be ok without doing it. Nope. 3 crashes later I made all the adjustments (and some airbrushing) and now it flies great. It's a show stopper anywhere you take it!
