probably the P-51 as the Meredith effect has to do with generating thrust from the heating of incoming air threw the radiator cooling system. This helped reduce the overal drag effect of the engine cooling system.

OK, guys. I was looking for AT-7, but the AT-11 was also a navigator trainer, so you're both right.

Cozzens' "Guard of Honor" opens with a scene in an AT-7. I think you're both up: both answers at 6:08.

I believe that would be an AT-11. I have had the good fortune to fly a '56 beech 18d. Proof that pigs do fly.

The saying refers to LF Mark Vb Spitfires with clipped wing tips and shortened supercharger impeller blades made for low altitude operations. The clapped portion refers to pilots feeling that the planes were out dated.

P-47H

BTW, my aircraft carrier/ trasporter is a Hemi Ram, which hauls my warbirds, including a P-47D-28-RA to the flying sites.

Yes, Bacham Ba349 Natter (Viper). One unsuccessful manned flight, another rumored. Something about those late war Nazi desperation weapons fascinate me. Your go!

Who made the "REX" (what is the company's name and country of origin ) and what aircraft was based on it?

Edit: Had to edit the last bit of my question.
