This one is a dead giveaway; but if you don't know the answer, it makes for some interesting history. Thanks; Ernie P.

What was the first fighter aircraft to fly using liquid rocket power?

Hint: Read the question.
Hint 2: Read the question again.

The only other one I can think of is the Kostikov-302 experimental plane, powered by liquid fuel rocket for take-off and ramjet engines for flight. That was in 1940.

Was it the Bachem BA 349 Natter?

Edit:

Disregard that answer. I cant remember the name of the plane but it was flown and desinged by Alexander Lippisch way before the war started.
Remember seeing it on the Military channel a while back. It was the forerunner to planes like the ME-163.
I want to say it was the Ente or something like that

The Ente was a modified glider, not a warbird, flown once with a solid fuel rocket. Back around 1929, if I remember correctly. Yes, an early pioneer; but not a *liquid fueled* rocket. Good guess, though. Thanks; Ernie P.

It was a warbird; and it flew under liquid rocket power, with the rocket engine flying the plane all by itself. But in the interest of fairness, you are now thinking in the right direction. And Wikipedia will give you the right answer. I checked. Thanks; Ernie P.

Yes, the Me-163 flew in combat. So did this plane type. It was a fighter; as in: An aircraft designed specifically to shoot down other aircraft. Agreed, Wiki isn't the bible. I was merely pointing out that those who have consulted Wilipedia have overlooked the answer. The answer is on Wikipedia. Several people have been very close, but simply missed the answer. Thanks; Ernie P.
