JohnnyS; thanks for the kind words. However, trying to mislead me is a waste of time and effort. My brain doesn't work quickly enough to be misdirected. Evening clue. You will notice the first two words of each clue are not separated by a space. There is a space between the two words in the document from which I copy the clues; and I see a space when I paste the clues. For some reason, the spaces are removed after I paste the clues. No, Zip; not the AGO CII. For one thing, there were only around a dozen of the AGO CII's produced. And, there were two, not one, float plane versions produced. But, to be fair, it WAS the AGO CI I had in mind; and I guess that's close enough. And, it's probably the plane you had in mind anyhow, knowing your expertise. The AGO CI was a recon plane, but since it was armed with a front firing machine gun, it was often used as a fighter, or pursuit plane as they were then known. It was quickly overshadowed by the Fokker E.I, so it's place in History was rather short. So, you are now up, Sir. Make it a good one, Zip! Thanks; Ernie P.
