No, not the F-22.
Here's a couple more.
1. The plane was so ugly it had to be named twice.
2. Total of 62 built. Some sources say less.
3. In service from 1922 to 1935.

I'm almost out of clues.
1.This plane was so ugly, they had to name it twice.
2.Total of 62 built. Some sources say less.
3.In service from 1922 to 1935.
4.Three man crew.
5.Navigator / Observer had four portholes to look out of.
6. It was used by the Royal Navy and the RAF.
7. Had a range of 440 miles.
8. Single engine
9. Pilot sat above the engine.
10. Armament was two guns, Lewis flexible for the gunner and a fixed gun mounted externally on the side of the plane for the pilot.

That was a punny clue #1!

The Supermarine Shrew would satisfy the "name it twice" clue, but not the part about ugly!

O.K...thanks Paul...

Working on something here and will have it up soon...

That Blackburn R-1 is in the "yikes!?" category...
I've got something a bit more conventional in mind.

Just think of the men who flew that thing, truly a rugged breed.

Alright...let's try this:

1) Looking for an aircraft

2) Twin engines

3) Monoplane

4) Utilized by the Military of 8 countries

5) Designed and first flown almost 80 years ago...there are still several of them flying these days

I agree whole heartedly Paul...

But I wonder if those guys got razzed by the guys that flew, let's say, a Hawker Fury, or some other more aesthetically pleasing aircraft...lol

12) Some versions were equipped with seating for 3, or 4 or sometimes 5 passengers
