Was it smaller than a Goose?
Same factory?
Engine types, radial, inline and flat 6?

If it wasn't the Goose, it can't be the Mallard. The Mallard was bigger than the Goose, seating up to 15. I actually know which aircraft this is but I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YA

I can't this time, I'll be in the hospital for more chemo this and next week.
I did fly an HU-16 Albatross, once. That was enough.
Goose and Widgeon look almost the same, the top of the fuselage forward of the cockpit curves down on the Widgeon, it's straight on the Goose.

@propstop...yes! The engine hadn't been run in a while so that took a bit of tinkering to get going. It still isn't 100% but it was making decent power and idled ok. It took at half throttle and I did about 5 laps of the field. Couple clicks if down elevator and a touch of aileron...flew great!
ok here we go...first couple clues
1. Designed in the mid 30's
2. The Boeing 247 and Douglas DC-2 were inspiration for this design
