RE: BEST SCALE 1/5-1/6 SCALE WARBIRD ARFS?
Hi there,
Best warbird ARFs in my opinion are:
1. KMP/YT Hurricane, Me-109E, B-25, Spitfire.
2. Any of 3 Sea Bees series.
BiBi 1/6 figures fit in these plane perfectly. DP

ORIGINAL: P-47 D PILOT
REALLY REALLY LOOKING FOR A P-47 RAZORBACK AND A SPITFIRE ARFS THAT THE 1/6 BBI PILOTS WOULD FIT INTO

KMP also has a nice razorback P-47 with black/yellow checkered tail (which I just ordered).

P-47 D Pilot
I don't think you will find better than the Hanger 9 150 size P-47 razorback. I have a 1/6 scale Dragon figures pilot in mine. As the model is 1/6 scale it is perfect. At this scale the jug is big enough to carry the weight of these quality pilots as they are very heavy by flying standards.
To install mine I just cut the floor out of the cockpit hatch & fitted a seat into the fuse. See this link for details -

If you read on to the next page you will see my flight report from the testing. Since then I have only got to like this model more & more each time I fly it.
Cheers & good luck.

I personally feel like CARF is making the best war birds right now. Blackhorse makes a nice War bird but they like Carf are pricey. If you want to go with reasonably priced I would say Phoenix Models.
