I need to counter sink 4 screws into this panel and I'm done with the surface detail except for the belly pan.

I'm considering not having an operating canopy....If I don't get judged for the cockpit area, why complicate it anymore than it needs.

I can install the cockpit sides, pilot, canopy, and instrument panel, and be done with it....and of course the canopy frame...

any input guys?

drilling out for the 20 MM cannon in the spinner is the last thing other than paint and the final placement of some electronics and it would be ready to maiden...

I can get it painted by next week....

Hello Casey!
I´m going to build this Fliteskin Bf-109. I would like to buy some good scale pilot. I´ve checked Phil´s website. I found there some scale accessories but no scale pilot. Could send me the link where can I found the yours please?

Hi Perkin
Try this: http://bestpilots.typepad.com/my_web...ffe-pilot.html
Jose's 109 is really great. I do have one still in box, unfortunately.

Gunter is the best scale pilot available, it is also in the exact scale for the Fliteskin Me109.

well a couple more row's anyways....
Casey,

what size brass tubing did you use on these rivets?

Hi Casey,
A lot of time has passed, so how is your Fliteskin 109 getting along ?
Any flight experience with that bird from your side . I would be eager to know since I am doing one of Jose`s kits as well !
see you

Hi all,
Well, no answer to be expected !
Obviously, I seem to be the only guy on this planet that is really going to make such a Fliteskin 109 airworthy !
If you want, you can follow the build on RCSB, chapter Fliteskin, Me 109 e-powered
see you

I decided to make some other detail for Luftwaffe warbirds. For all 1/5 scale Bf-109E, F I prepared gunsight. The Revi C/12 D would work also with Ju-87 Stuka.

Looks like glazier808 has bigger issues than finishing the 109!!
