Default KMP's New Sport Series debued!

Hi everyone, I wanted to take the liberty of introducing KMP's first two Sport Series planes being debued at the shows this year. KMP's slogan "Models of Distinction" is a continual work in progress. Introducing the Air Forces new Trainer, the PC9 and the WWII Piper L4.
The PC9 is sleek and colorful done in USAF, The L4 sports the D-Day configuration complete with Rocket tubes and operational suspension. Both of these planes are available for pre-orders from KMP. Any questions, feel free. Specs below

PC9
Engine: Aerovate 20cc gas or Saito 100-125
Wingspan 71"

L4
Engine: 20cc gas or Saito 100-125
Wingspan 90"

Are the retracts included with the PC9, or are they extra?

Stop calling the Texan II a PC9!

The T-6 is a complete redesign from the ground up, and is has a lot better electronics and a more powerful engine.

Manfred,

Can you tell me what part of Evil Merlins comment is incorrect about calling the aircraft a T6 Texan II ???

Wow not only does Manfred like to whine, he apparently doesn't know much about aircraft either. Impressive.

Perhaps in the UK, it will be known
as the Harvard II

I'll get my coat.

flytaildragger,
I notice a couple of things on the L4 that raise a couple of questions. 1. I noticed that there are doors that open on both sides of the fuse which is not scale. 2. Can the funky colored national insignia along with the incorrect sized numbers be easily removed? I don't know why after all this time the Chinese cannot get the correct color blue for our national insignia! The plane overall looks very good, however the wing construction, door mounting and articulated landing gear look very, very familiar to an all ready existing model of a Piper Cub.

Happy Flying!

In Canada it is called the CT-156 Harvard II.

The Brits don't use the Texan II/ Havard II, they use the Shorts Tucano, which is a licensed and modified version of the EMBRAER Tucano:

flytaildragger,

The L4 looks nice. Is the L4 a built up fuse and wing or is the fuse fiber glass? Are the decals applied to the Solortex and shot with a clear top coat like all the others?

Evil Marilynn, I didn't say you were wrong in calling this redesigned version of the Pilatus PC-9 a texan II, just noticing how you get your panties in a wad when there is the slightest misnomer, and rear your ugly head. You are truly the QUEEN of the whiners! I defer to you. "In order to compete in the United States JPATS competition, Pilatus and Beechcraft developed an extensively modified version of the PC-9, called the Beech Pilatus PC-9 Mk. II which won out over seven other contenders. It was later renamed the T-6A Texan II and is now built and marketed independently by Beechcraft. Over 700 are to be built for the United States Air Force and United States Navy, with Pilatus receiving royalties"

So in other words, once again, you were wrong.

Go figure. Why break the standard of you not knowing much about anything aircraft related.

Its OK maybe someday between all your whining you will actually learn something constructive.

Come on guys, lets talk about the planes at hand.

flytaildragger,

I thought I saw it posted here somewhere but I can't find it. What was the AUW of the new L4? Are all of the spec's listed anywhere and is this plane going to be posted on your site and when?

What you are looking at is the prototype. Andrew will deliver accurately detailed planes or you have my permission to pluck the rest of his hair. The L4 will look great.

Hi Zippi, The L4 specs out at 90" wing, Is designed for our Aerovate 20cc rear inducted gas. Andrew will probably offer some kind of package deal as an option. Yes to your other questions as far as finish. Solartex painted with tough epoxy paint. The door only opens on one side I believe. What is neat is the scale wheels and operational suspension.
