Default Need Some Dove Gray Flat Monokote

I let the wing on my TF GS FW 190 ARF fall over & it broke one of the flaps.

Easy enough to rebuild, but I need a piece of flat dove gray monkote to finish it.

4" X 20" would be minimum. 2 more inches both ways would be ideal.

I just realized that is an entire roll. I just glanced & thought it was a 6" strip.

I don't want to buy a whole roll for a 4" X 20" piece.

So I'm still looking.

I've found that it's always good to have Monokote around. Later on down the road if you need to do more repairs you always have it hand.

I know your plane was an ARF. But when I build a plane I always take the leftover Monokote and label as to what plane it was used on and then stick it away. The reason I do this is because there are sometimes a slight bit over variation in tints of the color on Monokote from batch to batch. And sometimes a new roll may be just a little bit off from what's on the plane. So by saving the leftover after a build I know I have the exact shade I need to do minor repairs later on down the road.

You have already spent over 1K on the Plane; whats another $15, and like Ken says, it won't go to waste, you may need some more down the road

When you are on a fixed limited income $15 will pay for some $$ to pay postage for a small strip & still have enough left over to buy a 1/2 pint of paint other necessary gear.
