Andy,
i thought of using some fiberglass cloth and thinned epoxy to wrap the area that cracked....
unfortunately i find it difficult to cut through plywood, i don't have an electric saw or something!

Kostos, the problem is Lt ply in a stress bearing member. In this case you over tightened it. Take some pine or spruce (1/4x1/2 or ¼ square), cut it to fit very tightly between the left and right fuse sides on the wing side. Then push it as close to the holes one on either side (fore and aft) epoxied of coarse.
To prevent this from happening again glue a soft piece of balsa between the new members and the wing. Widdle it down till it fits the wing perfectly. Now when you reach all is tight the torque will rise quickly on the screws giving you a good signal its tight.
Joe

Thank's Joe, always helpful!!!
I will try to find a solution of how to cut the ply portions.
The balsa part should face the wing, right;

Kostas,
Here are some pics of the fixed gear "Export" Hawk. Those pics from December are all corrupted and RCU disabled edit so one cannot reintroduce them on the same post anymore.
Anyway, I'm after my Dad to finish his P-36 like this, I have drawn out the pants patterns so I can carve them from balsa. I have drawn them like the full pants in the painting.

I just finished the covering job guys. Prices for covering have gone way too high,
so I tried to use whatever I had on my room, choosing between spare pieces!
