Alan,
I have done a bit of business with CD Scale (for the Fokker D.VIII and hte Ju-88).
Chris is GOOD people. His support after the sale is great.
For my Fokker kit the parts were all machine cut (not laser) and l could put the whole wing together without a drop of glue.
The Ju-88 plans are aweseome.
There is a build thread over at RC Scale Builder (don't remember exactly where), that had the prototype build, as well as one other thread with the changes Chris added to the plane after the prototype build.

RE: JUNKERS 88
Oh no! Please, ESM, don't launch a Ju-88 !!! Wulfmeister/Ta152 is already putting together the ESM 110 !
And he just got himself the large CMPro Zero. He has two large Focke Wulfs and is also building a Dave Platt Bf-109.
The man is sick !
Here he is landing his Zero with a Laser 360-V;

Oh, I found CTDavies build;

Does anyone know whether one would get any response if ordering a Ju-88 from CTDavies? I am interested.
Also wonders what the inside diameter of the cowlings are. Which Saito Petrol fourstroke would fit, strong enough to lift the plane,
with power to spare?

No glow for me. After a while the paint turns into jelly, no matter what you do.
It will have to be petrol, and the Saito four-stroke petrol range comes to mind.....

RE: JUNKERS 88
I sent Chris money for the JU-88 back in March. plans and parts. He has not responded to any e-mails, I think I got a response from possibly his wife two weeks ago, but she stated the delay was caused due to a backordered "wood shipment" . The site seems to be down and I have not heard anything since

RE: JUNKERS 88
Thanks for the information, Alan.Well, it would be too good to be true that YT should fulfill the wishes for only a few Ju-88 fans.
The comfort is I am enjoying the 50cc Corsair so much you wouldnt believe it!
Sliding canopy finished, waiting for 10cm (4") cylinders coming in, and gear doors is next. Have 10 wonderful flights on it
now, and the landings are getting better and better. I am in Warbird heaven!
It gives me invaluable phsycological training to handle my 17 kg Vailly Fw 190 which is still alive and well.
(It is still a bit intimidating)
ESM/YT 109G is next.
But at the same time an urge to build the 88 is strong and growing.

RE: JUNKERS 88
I myself would LOVE for YT to bring a JU-88 to market. Yeah I know Alan said they werent planning on it, but I bet there is a lot more interest in the ju-88 then what is seen here.
So Alan, if not a ju-88...how bout a nice large HE-111? And since YT is a main distributor and designer assist for ESM, does that mean ESM has ruled out a ju-88?

Kwik.....
Precision Cut kits has a ju-88 @ 113" wingspan. Its a Don Smith design I believe
http://www.precisioncutkits.com
You easily should be able to fit saito gassers in the cowls of that thing. Two 30cc err saito Fg30(180g) gassers would probably do the trick.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SAIEG30
Two saito 150 glow is more then enough for the esm 95" b-25, so a ju-88 at 113 with two 30cc might be enough.
If the 113" is a bit big for youy, Clevelandairline has various size plans available. All the way from tiny 1/32 size to 1/4 scale. The 1/8th size is 102" wingspan. Plan price is $29
http://www.clevelandairline.com/ASP/PRODUCT.asp
Use the manufacturer drop down list to find Junkers
This one is a 72", but you could enlarge the plans:
http://www.kitcutters.com/Nex/NexJU88.htm
They also list the 113" Don Smith ju-88 with nice picture
http://www.kitcutters.com/Smi/SmiJU88.htm
You can get the plans alone, or get a wood kit too.

RE: JUNKERS 88
Traplet has a 100" Ju-88 G solid nose. The canopy , cowls, and spinners are pretty good( .062 ABS ) , but there are certain aspects of the plan that are a little off, but for the most part its not a bad looking bird[img][/img]
