Default Who built the B-36 Convair Bomber flown in the 2007 Ft Worth Thunderbird Warbird Fly-in?

I am trying to find out who built the B-36 Convair Bomber (Warbird) which flew in the 2007 Fort Worth Thunderbird War-Bird Fly-In? The photos of this awesome aircraft are posted on the www.teamrcpilot.com web site under the 2007 Warbird events held at Thunderbird field in Texas. My dad is building one of these same airplanes from a forty-year-old kit found in the attic. He purchased it from Korea/ Japan sent it home to himself when he was stationed overseas. Shuffled throught many moves, it was retrieved from the attic and dad plans to build it now. Dad flew helicopters and aircraft during his 3 overseas tours. (VietNam and Korea).
I have considered purchasing the DVD of that RC Warbird Fly-In event just hoping that the owners name and city will be mentioned on the DVD. My dad really wants to talk with the builder/ owner to ask a few technical questions on the rigging and such... Does anyone know who the owner is? This will be the best Christmas gift that dad really wants. I also plan to contact Greg Hahn (technical advisor for Model Aviation Magazine) to see if he knows who built the B-36 Convair Bomber.......Thanks, G.

Simply contact the CD for the event or the Pres of Thunderbirds. I am sure they have the name and address of everyone who registered in the event.

Built by Grant Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma. This was one of 6 that he build from a plan copied from the Kiosho Model Company back in the 60's. There is one for sale, and mostly finished with 6 motors already mounted. You may see this model at Montgomery Marine in Wetumpka, Al 36093. Phone - 334-514-0211.
I placed a general ad on RCU today for the lot of items as a bulk sale for any small online hobby store owners. See ad details below:

These new and used items are mostly ready to fly, and some are still new in box, etc. Many new motors (NIB) and accessories as well.

Everything is being stored in the showroom at my brother's boat shop (Montgomery Marine - 1765 US 231 - Wetumpka, AL 36093). You are welcome to come by and see the items that would be of interest you. Everything is priced to move. The staff stays very busy, so if you call 334-514-0211, you may get their answering service. Their business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM weekdays and 8 AM - 2 PM on Saturday, so you may just want to visit sometime to see everything. You can also send an email to Phil if you want to set up a time in the afternoon to see these items ([email protected]). If helpful, I may also come by and meet you there, if needed.
Today, I am just posting the main details of the group of airplanes and motors for sale and will update this page with details and prices on each model and motor (nib). Most likely, I will build a page for each item for sale in the next few weeks. We also have MANY other RC accessories for sale as well. All items are priced to sell quickly. Thanks, G.
