WW-1 Dawn Patrol ?
I would like to know who puts on the best Dawn Patrol air show for rc aircraft. Any plans for a warbird gaggle in big numbers? I know that Warbirds over Delaware has a big one, but don't know any other events that cater to WW-1 stuff.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

The DCRC event at Bealton, Va in the fall usually has a good smattering of WWI warbirds. Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Rhinebeck, NY, has full scale as well as RC WWI warbirds, but I don't know if that is all the time for RC or just special events.

Rhienbeck is a once a year event... usually just after labor day... and its a fantasticly fun event too.
And most of the time it ends up with me climbing on the top of the lingere store roof to recover someone's airplane or crossing over the swamp via a tree trunk to pull a GeeBee out of the woods... but its great fun anyways!

I might make Denver this year in June. I will be at The Rockies in September. Ohio Dawn Patrol looks nice. I want to make Delaware too.I really liked the Delaware event last year. I was one of the 33 planes in the air that Friday. It was like one big Cyclone though. I was always doing low fly overs because everyone else had the big idea to stay high. Low airspace was clear. I was the first one up after the big 20ft bomber. Then I was second from last to land. The big DH-4 just about landed on top of me too.
Thanx Sam. Btw, I never got that Bearcat prop from Jeff. Did you send it with him?
