This is just my opinion but I don't think a Warbird is a true Warbird unless it's glassed and painted or a nice job with Flite-Metal which I stink at. I'll just stay with primer and paint. Covering is for civilian planes and then only the ones that were originally covered in fabric. The rest should be sheeted and glassed like true Warbirds.

was that a ARF slam? well one can make ARFs look just as good as any kit.. right down to the
flush mounted cowl. you just need some commitment. cost is minimal and it dosn't add alot of weight.
copy and paste the link in my sig and see for yourself. for $239 right to my door.. its one of the better
deals out there.

YEP GENTS.... PERHAPS IT IS A TOP-FLITE GIANT SCALE CORSAIR and not even a TF P-40???

Part # 150
100 Deg. Rotating Retract
http://robart.com/retracts/20-55lbGSRotate.aspx
Been making these for years....

Think it'd be great to see more GIANT SCALE WARBIRDS....but maybe it is a CORSAIR!

No problem Acually the prototypes looks many times not as good as the production models.
I´m interested to see what TF will bring out

If Top Flite is indeed bringing a large P-40 ARF to market then chances are it will look very much like the .60 size kit as far as scale fidelity goes. That would be a good thing in my opinion as, despite having some issues, it is light years ahead of anything else I've seen thus far. (I'm speaking only of ARFs here) That includes the new ESM P-40 which, IMHO, is a step backward from some of their recent offerings.

Interesting!

I am looking forward to them posting some additional information.

Of the top of my head I am wondering if it will fit a DA-85 (concealed) to spin a 3 blade prop.

I'm sure it will fit right in. As big as the cowl is. Sounds like a good choice.

One of the best things about a model of a P-40 has always been it's enormous cowl.

I'm sure it does and if you look inside the First aid/Service hatch right behind the oxygen tank
you'll find the spare tailwheel and jack.

What are the chances of it using the same retracts as the corsair? I have those.
