Default Engine choices for .60 size H9 Mustang...

Just starting on this one, and am trying to decide on an engine for it. I would like to be able to keep all the engine inside the cowling if possible, so any suggestions from you guys who have these 'stangs would be appreciated.

I have never tried one, but a RCV engine would fit in the cowl. I think the best bang (in my opinion) would be a Saito .100.

I'm sure the RCV engines will fit in the cowl. Another nice feature with this entgines is the 2
:1 ratio gear which probably would let you run 4-blade with good luck.

I have a .91fx (which is running perfect out the box) in it. This engines fits inside the cowl as well when used with another muffler. It is very overpowered, but that doesn't matter since i didn't add any dead weight to balance it.

I've seen one with saito 100 which is a good choice as well, look great because it is mounted inverted and you will not see to much cut aways in the cowl.

i got a tt-91 in my plane.i had to cut a decent size hole to clear the rocker arms, other than that the engine fits inside the cowl.i'm currently looking for an inverted muffler ,so i don't have to cut a hole in the side of my cowl for the stock muffler.

Saito 120 with an APC 16X8 prop. Flies well at half throttle and screams on high speed low strafing runs.

The plane would be great with a Saito 100 as well. I just happened to have the 120 in hand. I modified the firewall on mine and run with no muffler. Has a real cool sound on fly bys

I run an OS 1.20 Surpass III in mine. Plenty of power for speed runs and an ultra reliable engine. Mine is the pumped version. With the pump, I am able to locate the 20 oz fuel tank very near the CG without any fuel draw or tank location problems. I am using an APC 14 X 10 prop.
