Default EasyTiger Models Giant Series P-47 Thunderbolt

Ijust started in on it this weekend, it looks really great. Ihave gotten the tail done, mostly, but no more time until next weekend, it will not take long to build, but I do not know what power Iwill use yet. On my Easy Tiger Focke Wolfe, Iam using the Tiger Power 100 electric motor, and its great, but Ihave a G62 Zenoah that has been sitting around for a while, Imight use that.
But I am really happy with the quality.
And it is very light and very well made.
Right now, I am havign no luck with the internet, first Ihad a post timed out because Itook to long to type it, now I tried to post pictures, but it is saying they are too large to post, Ineed to work that out.

So I got her together and flew her, with the Zenoah G62, and it is the best flying warbird ever, ever.  Better than teh FW190, even.
I am so happy with the way it turned out, and had such a good day of flying today.  It has been so hot, too hot to enjoy things, but today was just beatiful, and I had a new plane to fly, and everything worked perfectly.
The engine was perfect, the plane was perfect, the landings were perfect, and I am happy as a pig in mud.
Cannot say enough nice things about this plane, it flies really straight, rolls really straight, the landing gear works perfect and is strong, and its really easy to land with or without the flaps.
Now I am going to detail it out a little bit, add some guns and antenna and stuff, dress it up a little more.

I have not had a chance to detail this plane out at all, but I have had a lot of flights on her and I love her.
Who makes a cockpit kit that will fit a 95" P-47?
I would like to do a tailwheel too, not a fully retracting tailwheel, but somethgn that looks more scale than what the kit provides.

I have some pics taken with a regular camera, I can take them to Kincos and scan them, I'm not an expert at the computer stuff, but I can get help.
There is not much handiwork of my own on the P47 now, it is stock out of the box, not too much to see different from stock. But it's a nice plane right out of the box.

I don't think I've EVER seen pictures of his Easytiger stuff.

He claims that he doesn't have a camera and he cannot download the pictures from the camera in his phone

I saw this plane at the Toledo show last year. I didn't care for it's stock appearance, but I'm glad to here she flys well. Perhaps some will do some work on her and post pictures.

I'm building the P-47 with 95" WS and you say it flys well with a G-62? it just seems kind of big for a G-62

Frankie,

It's Erik. How have you been? I lost your # a while back when my phone died. Call or text me at 610-554-7455. How do you like Easy's Jug? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on his new Miss America Mustang, but don't want junk. Always partial to that scheme. Look at my Firebird. Do you remember covering a Top Flite one for me in that scheme 35 years ago? I put a piped Rossi in it because I wanted to beat Al Winslow's yellow one. Long time my friend. Love to catch up with you. Take care, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Erik
