Bendable metal exhaust tubing (Where)
Scale Warbird builders I am looking for a source of flexable metal tubing to use to route the exhaust to the scale location. Need 3/4" ID to fit the tubes on the mufflers. Thanks Stuka Jon

RE: Bendable metal exhaust tubing (Where)
The high temp silicone tubing is good for 500 degrees and I've yet to burn through a piece of it. People have been using silicone for coupling tuned pipes for years and I imagine those get pretty hot. I use the 1/2" I.D. stuff which I think would stretch enough to go over a 3/4" pipe. It may be available in larger diameters as well, never looked. Anyway, just throwing it out there as an option.

Saito makes various diameter and length flexible exhaust tubes with and without pressure taps. But, its in mm, not inches for ID.

Saito's flexible exhaust are for basically for the Saito /OS type four stroke engine. The OD is much smaller than the 3/4''(19.5 mm). B and B Specialties is the place to go. I have purchased the 3/4'' OD stuff for them and I believe you can get it in any length needed (roughly $10 per foot).[8D]
