Not a pro or an expert .
The Y S engines are known for being very powerful so i dont see a problem with a 120 hauling the CMP P40 with ease
These planes are very light .
As far as three blade I would ask Zinger props on there website , they also make a nice (but expensive ) wooden 3 blade .
I was looking at it for my P40 a few years back because I prefer wood props .
There is a ton on online info on the CMP p40 , your better off useing google then the RCU search tool .
Just google CMP P40
One guy on RCU -named Taus , did a great job , split the flaps added an interior ect

I have flown 11 pound warbirds and biplanes with a Laser 120 very well. The Laser 120 is like a Saito 100 or OS 91, less powerful that the YS 120. It really depends on the preformance you want. I don't fly real fast just a bit more than "scale" and am happy when 1/2 to 3/4 throttle is a good flying speed. I suggest not using a 3 blade prop as you will not get one to work at a scale dia and they are less effiecent.
