TF GS P47 ARF w/ DA 85 4-bl prop choices?
I'm looking for 4 blade prop to put on my DA 85 for a new TF GS P47 ARF version. I'm looking for great top speed but still allows for controllable slow landings. Choices I'm looking at are:
3W CF 20x12 for $92 at Cactus.
Fuchs 21x11 for $140 at AI.
Please share your experience with these or other choices.

Thanks for the Solo recommendation. But I'm not that good of a warbird pilot to risk 350-400 bucks propeller in front of a heavy warbird. I also never cared much for zinger props. But may be in the large 4bl version they're comparable to Fuchs and 3W? I don't know much about 4 bld ones. Anyone tried the 3W one yet?

If you get out a DA-85 6000rpm with a 26x10 prop, this motor will pull a 24 inch solo without problem - fantastic is the adjustable pitch. The engine runs much smoother and the cool factor is 10.
If you buy the wrong propeller you're stuck with $100+ wall decoration...
The airplane in the picture was a TF 85 inch, had a Torch 90cc in there and the Solo was 25 inch.
BTW: I don't like too small propellers - If the airframe calls for a 25 inch your smallest should be a 24, everything smaller looks odd. Look at the fan...

I'll keep Solo in mind for a killer scale warbird, not for this pseudoscale TF ARF thing.
Looks like Biela also makes a CF 4bld 22x10 prop too.
I'm surprised nobody has tried these 3 props. Please help so I don't buy a wall decoration.

RE: TF GS P47 ARF w/ DA 85 4-bl prop choices?
Hi guys,
I have a question about the wheels. Sorry, i'm deviating from the topic, however I seem to be having a problem.
When the landing gear is retracted, the wheels dont go in fully because the wheel wells aren't entirely flat inside, causing the gear doors to stick out. Do any of you have any suggestions? I'm trying to find narrower wheels, but haven't been able to come across any that are 5" in diameter but about 3/4" wide.
Shall appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
