I also have a big Skyraider, SOS unit out of Thailand color scheme, here are some pics taken at a recent warbird meet, I would love to see all of these birds in the air at once.
Mine is built from the Amercian Eagle fuse, G62 for power, with Robart retracts

Mine WAS a 505 from a book I have. G62 and Robarts as well. Probably build my 3rd. Just have to finish "Z" P-40, "Z" P-61 and few other projects. No time.

never enuff time, just excuses, hey i am in the same boat so i know your pain.

How is the flat black to see when flying, any issues ?

I run the black on the skyraider and AC-47 . Both are visable since their so big. Early morning flying sucks because the thing turns black all over. Gentle turns and nothing stupid gets around the sun corner.
