Sorry I can't help, deatobnt, but I also would like to know particularly about the Mark G 140 (23cc) gas engine. Did you by chance, find something out about this engine from another source?

Appreciate the effort P-40K-5, it helps some but I am really only interested in the G 140 (23cc) and it doesn't give any info that I can find here.

No problem. I am looking for someone or a review that gives some info as to how good/bad this engine is. By the way the URL above is for a nitro (M 140) as the gas version is the G 140. These Hungarian engines cost more than other 20cc - 23cc gas engines and I would like some opinions from flyers as to how reliable they are and if the company supports their product before I would buy one.

Thanks.

You might try here. They have the 180 and they may know something about the 140

All I can tell you is that if Moki[Mark] makes a gas engine then I would buy it.If they are anywhere as good as the 135-180-210 then they are worth the money, you get what you pay for.I have seen many of thier radials and they are great. If you buy from "just engines" they will be delivered from the UK cheaper than you can buy from some of the outlets here in the states.I bought a radial engine mount from them "delivered, half the price from a supplier here in the US.Tom

Hobby People carry Mark engines but the 23cc is out of stock. There is one review on the engine when you pull up the page that is kind of shallow. The menu is not very friendly. It would be best to type Mark into the search box and start paging through.

http://www.hobbypeople.net/index.php...list/id/34200/

For me the selling point is the front carb, available radial mount that replaces the backplate, and the mufflers available. Also, they carry a full line of parts. It would be easy to put the motor in to a warbird with an inline engine.

The down side is the cost of the ignition module. If it goes out, it may be expensive. I don't know if another brand module and pickup would work.

I've not used the gasser version of the Moki's but I've used the glow 1.4, 1.8 and 2.1s for some of my bigger birds.

Moki engines, are reliable, easy to start and RUN. Like all the time, they need only a little adjustment when you get them, but once set, they are solid and reliable. Period.

Thanks guys. I haven't heard much about Moki and this helps. I'll recheck their website again and look up that review. I really do appreciate your efforts as I haven't heard or know much about Moki and no one here is familiar with them either.

I have several of their glow engines and have been very happy with them. I have a 180 G but have not done anything with it yet
