Will she fly tomorrow? I'm bringing the new Jug, the big 109 and maybe the Corsair.

Good job with the re-maiden today Bruno! It was great to see Lil' Margaret take to the skies once again, especially with the little guy in the cockpit!

Bruno,
Love the plane, I am doing the "Flying Undertaker' F6D. Can you send me an up close picture of your camera port. If possible hold a rule up to the port so I could get the dimensions of the port? Thanks, |
Bruno: Your plane looks great. Good work! Hope you get to enjoy it a lot longer this time.

Bruno, Very nice rebuild. Plane and pilot looks great.

Thank you,
She flew this past Sunday and better than before however I almost lost it again! It happened that when I replaced the damaged fuel I reused the cap and tubing since per first observation it was fine. What I didn't see is there was a hole on the plunger line just at the clunk tube's edge. I ran the engine on the ground for tuning with a full tank also once in the air and soon as the fuel level went bellow the hole in the fuel line the engine starved for fuel and quit. I did a risky dead stick landing but got it safely on the ground with just a bent strut. Already fixed the fuel tank and will machine a strut sometime this week, she'll be back flying this weekend if weather permit. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=1979147 |

Nice pics Bruno! I especially like the one of the takeoff roll with Princess already airborne and pulling up the gear. Had a blast flying with you this weekend. Did any of those shots that Glen took come out? Must have more!!

flyingchef it was a fantastic job!!. I learned a lot studyng all this thread.
Recently I have repainted a small 1/7 Hangar 9 blue nose mustang . She is electric with powerful system but i'm still waiting to solve some minor issue before the maiden. |
Hey Bruno, I know it's been a lot of years but any chance you still have the mold for the radiator scoop? If so, could I talk you into making one up for me?
|
Mustang Scoop
Hey Chad,
I guess everyone is starting to get out of the basement! I will have to dig the mold out from somewhere in the garage. If interested I can just sell you the mold as I don't plan to use it anytime in the future. I actually looking to post my Mustang for sale soon I finish to install a new DLE61 (the 3W 70 was not happy in this airframe) You can email me directly to: [email protected] Cheers, Bruno |
