Just an fyi as I was looking and drooling at what I want to fly in the future (as warbirds are out of my league at this point with my experience level in both flying and building)Icame across this. Found it pretty interesting.

I say go for it just take your time it's a fantastic subject to build and there arn't very many of those out there,
maybe by the time you finish building it you'll be a better pilot.

Skyshark owner Mike Grey has a couple of build threads on this bird over at RC ScaleBuilder for those that may be interested. It looks great and appears to fly like a low wing trainer.

Really nice to see them continuing with kits. I just wish the 190 D9 was a little bigger. The size of this IL2 is great though, and a DLE 20 would be the ticket here.
