Jerry Bates 80 in. Hellcat Overhaul!!!

Picked up a Jerry Bates Hellcat that had some shipping damage. The airframe has been around but there is no crash damage. The plane is very scaled out with panel line and rivets. Full cockpit and pilot. Has scale flaps, scale aileron hinging and Century Jet retracts.
Here is my plan of action. Cutting off all the control surfaces, making new ones if needed new hinges and recovering. Reinstall the stab and fin. Retracts are going back to Century Jet for a complete rebuild and update. Essentially brand new when returned Install a new heavy duty firewall and a brand new US 41 gas engine, Wet sand the whole plane and repaint |

New elevators and rudder rough sanded and hinged. Hinge blocks need to be installed
