The cool idea of the D13 design is that, I can easily make it a D11 and that's the ticket!!!

fokke 10-04-2013 10:59 AM

I think that the idea for D9- D13 is good cose we can make and middle versions like D 10 - 11 - 12 with little work on the surface

I'll follow you!

All Day Dan 12-05-2013 06:55 AM

fokke, What are the two materials you are using for the fillets? Dan.

Sonny.C 12-05-2013 07:48 AM

Rumen,

What will the wingspan of this aircraft be? Your BF109 kit is awsome, but I personally prefer larger birds in the 80" - 100" size range (2032mm - 2540mm).

Thanks!

Sonny

fokke 12-05-2013 08:07 AM

Dan , I use foam in sray , after foam I put the acrilic filer ,

Sonny, I build my airplanes in 1/5 scale , the Messerschmitt is 1985mm or 78" in 1/5 scale , the Focke Wulf 190 D9 in 1/5 scale is 210 sm or 82 inces wingspan

Me410 12-05-2013 04:19 PM

1/5 scale is perfect for me, I will be watching with keen interest.

I built and flew a 63" Platt FW190D many years ago and loved it.

Building a 1/5 Platt ME109 right now, after that I have a 65"SeaFury kit to build.

After that , a 1/5 FW190D will be in my future.

Tom

kochj 12-22-2013 12:27 PM

nice

fokke 12-22-2013 12:41 PM

Tom, Dave Platt models are realy great :)

The FW 190 D9 in 1/5 scale is 210 sm or 82.6 inches so will be bigger then BF or SeaFury , ithe same time the engine cn be 45- 65cc gass engine

Thanks kochj :)

Hi Fokke, how is your project coming along? I have enjoyed following our 109 and now the 190 project

fokke 03-01-2014 12:29 AM

Hi Warbird AL , thanks for the interest

I work and have a big progress on the fuselage of Dora and soon I will start to glue the aluminium foils with rivets and panels . I will post pictures.

I work on the BF-109 E4 project to , :)

Regards

Warbird AL 03-02-2014 03:48 AM

Good to hear, was just hoping you hadn't gone away! Are you planning on using a certain type of retract unit or are you also designing those?

fokke 03-02-2014 04:56 AM

I plan to build my retracts , but I think to project the schassis for Sierra and several other landinggears , I think to make something universal
