BIG DC-3: Is this a Ziroli?
 

I've purchased a 3rd hand unfinished giant scale DC-3 from a club mate. She is almost ready to be sheeted (well not quite). The general size specs are 138" wing span, 96" fuse. It has a full fiberglass nose and two cowls. Wing tubes with removable ends (3 piece). No plans! I want to determine what plans this was built from so that I can finish it correctly. The specs from above are very close to the Ziroli DC-3, but I want to be sure. The gear is the Robart set. Anyone ever finished one of these big boys? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

THATS A ZIROLI. W/S IS 142" THE GLASS NOSE GIVES IT AWAY. AMERICAN EAGLE HAS THE NEXT SIZE SMALLER, BUT IT IS A COMPLETELY FIBERGLASS FUSELAGE. I HAVE THE ENGINES FOR IT IF YOU DONT HAVE THEM YET. LET ME KNOW IF YOUR INTERESTED. "STUKA" BARRY

The glass nose is a dead giveaway for a Ziroli. I have this one on my to do list, I think #9 in line. Good luck...

yup thats a ziroli i just vectored all the parts for one for my laser cutter friend the nose definately gives it away. I am gonna do one this winter myself with a "Spooky" vietnam era gunship
