Default Moving canons

Hi guys!!!
A friend of mine is making a big battleship, he need some ideas how to move the canons and the turrets, do you have any diagrams for that??? Any pictures???

It really depends on what you mean by "move the cannons". Are you talking just turning them or raising and lowering? Next question is how big is his "big battleship"?

I'm talking about both movements, up, down and turning them
Each turret have about 7" long without the canons

If the guns won't be able to fire, they can be raised and lowered with microservos mounted to the turret structure. As far as rotating the turret itself, a high torque servo with a speed reduction gearbox would work. If he's planning on having them fire any sort of projectiles, he's going to need to find out if it's legal to do so first
