Default Help

Recently I purchased an old P51 Red Box Topflight kit. It looked like a complete kit until I began to break it down. I am missing the two 5/8" x 3/4" x 12" pieces that go on the front top of the fuse. I have looked through quite a few balsa wood websites and have not been able to locate. Does anyone know if these pieces are still available or is there a substitute?

I would try to laminate a couple of pieces using some wood glue, once cured, carefully sand or plane down to the size you need to.

Thanks bingo field, I thought of that or possibly going with the larger 5/8" x 1" pieces since it is an area with quite a bit of trimming. That balsa is still available.
