Great Option for Earthquake 8E Body Upgrade
Iposted a reply in another thread but wanted to start a new thread to let everyone know about this great option to replace the weak/brittle body of the Earthquake 8E. This is my first ever RC Car/Truck and Ibroke the body in 3 pieces my first trip out in about 5 minutes doing a wheelie and flipping. I had no clue how to work with an RCcar body but I went to the local hobby shop and picked up a Tmaxx/Revo body made by Pro-line that is lexan ($24). It seemed much stronger so I figured I'd give it a try to see if I could make it work. Only took about an hour or two of trimming while watching TV and then some light sanding and a paint job, it looks great! I raised the body mount posts up to their highest setting and had to make custom holes in the body obviously but it was all simple! Couldn't believe how easy it was. I took it out today for a spin and accidentally ended up on the roof again, but with this body no breaking, only a couple scratches and this was probably a 15mph flip in a parking lot while about 25* outside, so it would have broken the cold brittle stock body for sure. Here are some pics, let me know what you think!

Not sure on the part number, I'm thinking any of the pro line bodies for the Tmaxx/Revo should fit with some trimming. Just search for Pro line silverado and you should find some options like this one.
