Default 2000mah 6v flat receiver pack install on Backdraft 3.5 ( Pics )

Here is how I have put 2000mah 6v flat receiver pack batteries on my Backdraft 3.5, easy to charge without taking off buggy and they are very secure with the extra heavy duty Velcro I used, the body of the buggy also fits down snug on top of the pack and adds even more security, I still have my AA holder in it place in the battery box which I will keep 4 2900mah AA batteries in so I can just changethe plug over if my flat pack gets low and I'm off to the races again, plus I have 2 of the flat packs as well so when th AA'sin the box are low I'll just switchthe packs out and here I go again, thisshould give me loads of run time for my receiver.

if anyone else is interested in going this route here is a link to where I found these packs at a great price, much cheaper than the hump packs withsimular mah.

When you use the 1.2 volt nimh in the battery box do you notice any slower response in the steering servo? I ask because you are using 4 x 1.2 volt in the battery box and switching over to a 5 x 1.2 volt battery stick. I figure you should no and I want to switch over to nimh. Thanks

There could be a difference but to be honest if there is Ihave not actually noticed it yet, I have only ran the buggy one time since I put the flat pack on it with the 5X1.2's, I also have some AANizn batteries that are 1.6V each that Iplan to use in the bat. box so Iwill know before long if I see a noticable difference but to answer your question Ihave not seen it yet if there is.

Sorry Icant give you a for sure on this.
