Default Want to upgrade my Tornado ESP Pro

I have a Redcat Tornado ESP Pro. I am new to the rc stuff, and just got this one for Christmas. I seem to be having a issue with the ESC, where it will only give me full power whenever it wants to. I heard the the ESC that comes in these is not very good or dependable. I am looking for advice of what I can do!!! I was also thinking about changing out the ESC or going with a new Brushless motor/ESC/Program Card. Looking for advice in selecting the right one. Was thinking about

i would get the ezrun 35amp 3300kv with program card. very close to the one you posted, but better known. its the same system redcat has in the caldera 10e.

but the one you posted will bolt right in and work. big difference in speed/power over the stock motor.

if you want to stay brushed, pick up a traxxas xl-5 speed control off ebay. should be able to find one for $30.

oh, if it is a pro, the motor is pretty good. just get a
ezrun 35a ESC off hobbyking. just $35 for the ESC.
i have the ezrun 35amp ezrun on my lightning epx pro with the stock motor.

When you said "but the one you posted will bolt right in and work. big difference in speed/power over the stock motor".  Do you mean that it will perform better of worse than the stock motor?  The stock motor is Electric Brushless 3300KV 540 Novatech with a ezRun-S10 RTR ESC

at 1st i though you said you had the brushed version.
the leapord system will perform the same as the stock system. the ezrun system will as well. however, both the leapord and ezrun speed controls have more tuning functions than the stock novatech ESC.
the ezrun 35amp will work, the 60amp will work better.
the 35amp ESC is in the caldera 10e.
