I have a Tornado BB nitro car, and I just took it for some dirt runs. It was filthy and everything, but I cleaned it (kind of). There only crucial part I could,nt clean are the shocks because of those springs. How do I get to them? The only way I can figure is to take them off and soak them. If there are any better ways, please let me know!

1: Remove shock from vehicle
2: Compress spring in direction shown in pic 2
3: When spring is compressed, you can remove the piece circled (the piece that the spring would sit on). When that piece is removed, the spring can now be removed. EDIT: See far right pic.

i spray mine with simple green then use compressed air to blow all the dirt and cleaner off it works well.

a tooth brush comes in handy for cleaning hard to reach(pun) places on RC's. its a cheap tool to have on hand.
compressed air is great.
if you dont have an air compressor, the air cans made for cleaning computers and such work OK.

Iuse Hobo ditch (50% rubbing alcohol 50% water), toothbrush, paint brush, and compressed air to clean everything on the car.
