my first body work: hemicuda earthquake 8e (pics)
so this is my first crack at putting a new body on an RCcar. i made some pretty bad rookie mistakes, which i guess is part of the learning and the fun:
i originally was going to paint it hemicuda green but when i masked off the side pipes it didn't work so well so i ended up getting the silver paint overspray on some of the interior of the body. so instead of dealing with cleaning it off, i decided to just paint the whole think silver. whatever, right?
second mistake was on the hood scoop which is a separate piece, i screwed up the paint to i have to repaint it. that's why it's missing. it's matte black and actually looked pretty cool until some dust blew into the wet paint. anyway, not nearly perfect but a lot of fun, and should be much more durable than my stock 8e body.
