Default im being ignored by redcat support team why?

just want to know why my warranty and myself are being ignored by the redcat co. ? i have sent in 3 warranties claims on my radio/reciever/steering servo, and they will not even answer me some guy named billy fischer was helping me but now he is blowing me off, i found out that this truck ( AFTERSHOCK 3.5 ) SHOULD HAVE CAME WITH THE FM RADIO AND RECIEVER, but thats not the problem , my truck and reciever are under 90 day warranty and they are in my book ignoring me until it runs out , WHAT SHOULD I DO , between me and my family we have 8 REDCATS NOW , why wont they even talk to me , starting to get very upset,

i had a similar issue with that billy fisher character.i told him my upgraded cv shafts both broke in the first day, and he just told me it was because i didnt have the steering set up right. what a slap in the face!

what radio did it come with? nearly all redcat models now ship with the 2.4ghz radio.

i dont doubt that your servo is done, but whats wrong with the radio? maybe i can help with that part?

95% of the time when i have a warrenty claim, redcat gets me a reasponce quickly. but there are times they are slow. its more likely that they are just really busy right now(lots of orders coming in do to rebate season)
i know thats no excuse for them leaving you hanging, but that is most likely the cause of them not reasponding to you yet.

if you call, you could ask to speak to darin or chris. i have spoken on the phone many times with them and they have always helped me quicky!

my aftershock 3.5 came with the am radio, but the box shows the fm 2.4 radio and i got the disc too, so far i have lost 2 steering servos and the throttle servo twitches .........

It took me a week or so to get the claim form mailed to me too. Just hang in there they have taken care of me every time.

I've dealt with Billy too. He helped me with my engine swap. He was fast and very helpful, then I emailed him with some other questions and I heard right back from him. But I emailed him last week with an issue and haven't heard a peep. I wonder what happened for him to go from being fast and courteous to being nonresponsive.

A few things: 

Where did you buy the car?

Opening a warranty issue with redcat over a part that isn't broken isn't exactly good form.

Its entirely possible that the retailer you bought the car from swapped out the radio, since the 2.4 trans and rec. can be sold online for a decent amount.

Its also entirely possible you got an old stock aftershock or display model that was just thrown into a box (which happened to be of a newer unit with the 2.4 stuff)

The original aftershocks had AM, as was said... I would first open a dispute with the company you bought it from.

If you bought it directly from redcat, then obviously your dispute is with them, and you should continue on course...

Billy has been out for the last few days and we do apologize for the delays. Billy does most of the warranty claims but he is in the process of getting caught up. I am sure you will hear from him soon.

In regards to what your box says, can you post a picture of what you see on the box along with the radio that you received as we have not sold the Aftershock with an AM radio for a long time.

We were lucky for Katrina. Everything around us flooded but our place was high and dry.

Those where some tough times right after the storm, and even now things are not the same as they were before it hit. Only reasons that we stayed was family and the fact taht my fiance works for a damn good company.

Kind of glad we did now though. I keep hearing about unemployment being through the roof and how the economy is doing so poorly, but here it doesn't seem to really have effected us much.


I just wish we had better hills and more dirt for my RC's. Kenner is pretty much either flat or wet.

thanx for answering his question about the delay darin. i know you guys get busy this time of the year, but its nice you take the time to check up on this forum and help out!

i too thought it had been a long time since any of your models came with AM radios. Me thinks a hobby shop owner might have had an older model laying around?
