Default caldera looking different!

so my buddy who i gave a t-maxx roll cage did some work to it.

he made a sheet metal body panels, and mounted it...hinged at the back with a bolt on the front. works pretty good.

did a bashing at the sand pit and everything held up very well!

what do you guys think of it?

Wow, that dont look too bad, I wanna try it with my earthquake now. It reminds me of a homade dune buggy or somthing. the only thing I would done different was painted it blue, and put a big ol number on the side

yeh, personally i would have bought some black sheet metal.

but my buddy is low on cash and used what he could find in his dad's garage.

still, it will hold up to some serious bashing! which is good, as he is now running 2s lipos in the caldera. its a good deal faster now!

What brand of rollcage is that? I want to make a body for my earthquake out of one now, It would be different of course, I really like the way it looks, thats like the kind of dune buggies ive like, not somthing that looks like a Hpi Baja, it looks homade, and badass

sorry, dont know the make.

but i would be willing to bet you could do the same thing on your earthquake if you got a roll cage for the 3.3 tmaxx(as it will be longer than the cage on the caldera which is for a 1st gen tmaxx.)
