Someone else chime in if I'm wrong, but the ESC detects the number of cells based on voltage. Plug a single battery in to it and you should be fine. You'll either have to rewire it or just make a jumper for the other plug.

ok ill just desoldier thier and make one single attachment.
Update, i have done this and now working perfectly. So if anyone has an itch the 80amp esc will be able to run 2s with just a single connection. I shorted my wires down a bit < i hate having a wire mess.
Blitz is up and running. Redcat is retired.
