Default aftershock 8E vs. earthquake 8E

hey guys well i really want the aftershock 8E, but the earthquake 8E has bigger tires. the reason why im asking this is because im not sure if the aftershock 8E would do good in grass that is around 4 or 5 inches high. of course im sure it would work when the grass is cut. but, do you think i would be better off with the earthquake 8E. just a note: im not really planning on buying one, just for future reference in case i do buy one since these 1/8 cars are nice!!!!

You have to be careful running any rc thru taller grass, it will overheat and engine or an esc/motor. Something with better ground clearance would be the way to go. Corr/Trophy truck sit lower to the ground than monster trucks.

the aftershock doesn't do well in tall grass, so if that's your only (or major) criteria - then yes you need the MT.

With that said - the MT will not handle like the aftershock - forget high speed turns and nimble handling...  fyi.
