Default Tornado S30 Problem:

Hello all.
I am new to this scene and just bought a Tornado S30 to get started into it.
Well I received it today, and right off the bat, it isnt working. I popped brand new batteries into everything, and turned everything on...but nothing happened. No steering or throttle.

So I look deeper and I notice the servo cables arent plugged into the receiver. (d'oh!) I plug them in (In what I think are the right places, because the receiver has no markings at all.) and power it up.
Still nothing.

So what could be the issue? Two bad servos?? Or am I just making a beginners mistake?

Thanks for your time. Any help is appreciated!!

Channel one should be the steering servo and channel two is throttle.

the servo wires have 3 parts, pos, neg and signal. if you plugged them into the reciever backwards, then the servos wont get any signal from the reciever.

also, is the crystal installed in the reciever?

can you post a pic of the reciever?

i know this sounds funny but you did put 4 batteries in the receiver pack right? i have seen people just put 2 in it and not take the pack holder out. If you have a 2.4 system you may have to rebind it.

Thanks for the replies, everybody. Turns out both the servos were bad. Replaced them with some Futabas, and we are good to go! She's running great.
