A Turn for the Worst .28 engine

I'm a newbie. I have gone through the breaking period, but after the buggie heats up it will bogg down and die on me and not restart. It is also throwing out a lot of smoke. I am thinking the HSN is too rich. In doing a search of the setting for the .28 engine I have in my Hurricane XTR, I've seen a number of different HSN settings after breakin. Does anyone have any recomendations? Also, when someone indicates 2 turns out, is it two full 360 degree turns or just a 180 degree turn. I had seen in a couple videos from ALI that appeared to be 180 degree turns.

    Thanks for your help.

Turns is one complete revolution. If our engine dies when it gets hot I would suspect it is too lean not too rich. Lean causes it to run hot .
Lean is bad, rich is good.

try 3 full 360 degree turns on the low and high needles, this should get you going and is a good starting point, make sure you tighten them snug, not too tight then open them (close=lean= clockwise, open=richen=counterclockwise)

After You broke the engine in did you replace your glow plug? It sounds to me like you have a fouled glow plug
    stab it and steer
